The unit consists of a central lock to lock all the drawer and is built with a special anti-tilt system, which allows only one drawer to be opened at a time thus preventing the unit from toppling over.

For rigidity and durability reasons, each drawer is fitting on heavy duty Trapped Ball Sliding track. The unit is fitted with 4 nos. of heavy duty corner strengthening pieces so as to enhance the overall rigidity especially when all the drawer are fully loaded with files or documents. Each drawer is designed to carry 40Kgs. Each drawer is provided with full height slides and back cover thus forming a box construction for storage of stationary and filling pockets. Drawers with full height back cover will prevent the filling pockets from slipping off the suspension rails when fully loaded. Lateral filling drawer is specially designed for 2 - way filling i.e. allowing the end users the flexibility of filing left to right in one row or front to back in 2 rows. IT can be used for foolscap or A4 size filing. For security reasons the base of each unit is fully concealed so as to prevent tampering. The body and drawer edges are formed in such a way as to prevent dust, dampness, etc., from easily entering the unit when drawer are closed. Heavy duty specially designed bottom corner pieces are used to uniformly distribute the road on the offset surface. Four leveling glides are provided to level the unit.
